Love on a plate

We got reading a blog by Simply Nectar earlier which was all about aphrodisiacs. It got us thinking – and we mean that in a scientific and food sense, not a rude sense. Ooh, that rhymes.  You can read the Simply Nectar blog here by the way: http://simplynectar.blogspot.com/

It seems that some of the aphrodisiac foods that Simply Nectar mentioned in their blog post appear in a lot of What On Earth products. Is that a coincidence?? Umm, yes. We don’t make our goods with aphrodisiacs in mind but hey if it’s in there we should shout about it, right? If you’ve got it flaunt it and all that.

The biggest aphrodisiacs that relate to What On Earth are vanilla, chocolate, carrot, strawberries, raspberries and pineapple. All these lustful foods are used as ingredients in our products. What a result huh? It’s like we’re feeding you love on a plate…literally. 

Here's the science part:

• Vanilla has a scent and flavour that apparently increases lust. Yes, you read it here. This is the secret ingredient we’ve all been looking for. Luckily we found it before any of you did so we did what any self respecting and intelligent person would do...we put it in a cheesecake. • Strawberries and raspberries are ideal for feeding to people because they ooze love. They are sweet, bright red and can be used as a symbol for certain parts of the body. Celebrate the last precious days of National Chocolate Week - with more chocolate

If you didn’t know already, this week is National Chocolate Week (as well as National Curry Week). Sadly, the week is now drawing to a close so if you haven’t been stuffing your face with as much chocolate as possible, now is the time to start doing so. Officially you have until the end of Sunday 16 October to dig in so get down that shop and stock up on as many chocolate goodies as you can find.

If you don’t just want more chocolate bars and are lacking in inspiration of what else to go for then let us help you. We know our chocolate so we have lots of answers for you to tantalise those tastebuds of yours. From sickly sweet to brilliantly bitter, we can offer some enlightenment on the best chocolate desserts and bars around. And yes, we are referring to our own products :-)
